Expansion Community exists to provide safe spaces for those with an expanding faith to keep growing through resources, coaching, community and events so that they can live more meaningful, aligned lives and ultimately create a more loving world.

As people continue to grow into their own spiritual authority and have questions about God, Christianity, and the way Jesus has been represented- many are finding that they are spiritual nomads- like they don’t belong anywhere. They see Christ everywhere and desire to embody resurrection life in the everyday and are finding that it is bigger, better and more inclusive than they ever thought possible. 

But many are finding they don’t want to do that alone. They are looking for a new kind of community, guides, transformative experiences, resources, support network, and empowerment to own their own faith journey in a truly free and embodied way. And if the current statistics and projections are anywhere near correct- there is a growing multitude of us on this journey.

Jen and Phil Wood founded Expansion Community in 2021 and serve as its Curators. After 20 years of serving as pastors, church planters, and spiritual leaders, they stepped out of their role of leading a local church in Orange County, CA to follow what they sensed the Spirit doing in their own lives and in the world around them.

Rather than an institution, Expansion Community is a loosely connected network of support, resources, coaching, guides and community for people on an expansive faith journey. You are not alone.
